Delete Your Account & Data

Overview

DrumShed™ is developed and operated by DrumShed LLC. This page explains how to delete your DrumShed account and the data associated with it. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete Your Account in the App

You can delete your account directly from the DrumShed app at any time. No request or waiting period is required.

On Android

  • Open DrumShed and go to Settings
  • Tap "Privacy & Account"
  • Under Account, tap "Delete Account"
  • Confirm by entering your account email, then tap "Permanently delete my account"

On iPhone / iPad

  • Open DrumShed and go to Settings
  • Tap "Account"
  • Tap "Delete Account"
  • Confirm the deletion in the confirmation sheet

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we delete all data associated with it from our servers within 30 days, including:

  • Your account profile (Apple/Google-provided identifier, name, and email if shared)
  • Your practice history, drill results, streaks, and progress metrics
  • Your practice sessions and any drills (beats and fills) you created
  • Your AI conversation history
  • Your notification and email preferences

You are also signed out, and locally stored app data is cleared from your device as part of the deletion flow.

What May Be Retained

  • Copies ("forks") of your published drills that other drummers saved remain available to those users with their original attribution
  • Records we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records related to subscriptions) may be retained for the legally required period
  • Subscription billing is managed by Apple or Google; cancel any active subscription through your App Store or Google Play account, as deleting your DrumShed account does not cancel it

Export Your Data First (Optional)

Before deleting your account, you can export a copy of your data. In the app, go to Settings → Privacy & Account → "Export My Data" to receive a ZIP archive of your profile, practice history, and creations by email.

Request Deletion Without the App

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account and data deletion by emailing us from the email address associated with your account:

Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
