— Practice Path

Hand-Foot sixes II

A six-note cell with the kick in two places — a hand, a kick, two hands, a kick double — on the snare first, then as fills down the toms and grooves on the hats, ending on a four-bar groove and an orchestrated fill at 94, then the cell in triplets at 96 and a bonus day on the pocket: the backbeat played behind the beat on purpose. A song to play along with every day (two tracks).
