How pattern sharing works

Every beat and fill you create in DrumShed can be published to the Explore community. When you publish, other drummers can discover your pattern through genre filters, search, and the curated feed. They can star it, clone it, and follow you for future patterns. Publishing is one tap — your pattern goes live immediately.

Export any pattern as video in five aspect ratios — 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, 4:5 for feed posts, 1:1 for square, 4:3, or 16:9 for YouTube. Each video shows the grid view with sticking overlays, tempo display, and your username watermark. Notation export renders the pattern as a high-resolution PNG in standard drum notation — with an optional count overlay (1 e & a above the staff) so the reading travels with the image. And for longer exercises, the sheet-music PDF export engraves the whole pattern as a printable chart — you decide, bar by bar, which bars show the sticking and which show the counts.

Shareable links let anyone open your pattern directly in DrumShed. They see the full pattern with grid and notation views, hear it play at the configured tempo, and can clone it to their own library. If you gave the pattern a shuffle or a laid-back pocket, the share page captions that feel — "Light Shuffle", "Laid Back" — right on the notation. Links are the fastest way to share a specific pattern with a student, bandmate, or social media follower.
