Polyrhythms. Odd meters.
Surgical precision.

All 10 drills free — polyrhythm, odd meters, displacement, the lot — plus the full pattern editor and AI that does the math on a 5:3. For drummers who've outgrown apps that stop at 4/4 and a backbeat.

Polyrhythm drill

Stack two rhythms and internalize the relationship. 8 preset ratios in both polarities — flip 3:2 to 2:3 — or dial either side of the ratio up to 16 against 16.

🔢

Odd time signatures

Build patterns in any time signature from 2 to 13 over /4 or /8, with mixed subdivisions per beat. The Time Signature Builder drill takes the click to 13/8 — group a 7 as 2+2+3 or 3+2+2 and the accents follow.

↔️

Click displacement

Shift the click to any subdivision. Forces you to own the pulse internally, not just follow the click.

🔇

Internal clock

The metronome drops out for bars at a time. When it comes back, you find out if you drifted.

Full pattern editor

Place every hit on every voice. Build complex polymetric patterns, linear grooves, and progressive exercises.

AI for complexity (beta)

Describe complex patterns in English. The AI handles the math of polyrhythmic placement and odd-meter subdivisions.

A polyrhythm ladder that sticks

Most drummers learn 3:2 as a party trick and stall there. This is the four-rung version that turns ratios into feel.

1

3:2 at 60 BPM

Hands play 3, foot keeps 2. Count the composite out loud — "1, and-a, 2, and" — until the two lines stop being math and start being one rhythm.

2

Internalize it

Drop the counting. Move the 3 around the kit — hat, ride, floor tom — while the 2 stays planted. When you can hold a conversation over it, it's yours.

3

Step up to 4:3

Same process, denser math. The drill plays both sides of the ratio so you hear the target before your hands attempt it.

4

Displace the click

Move the click off the downbeat and hold the polyrhythm against it. This is the graduation exam — where the ratio becomes time, not arithmetic.

The ten drill engines

A click tells you where the beat is. It will never tell you what to do about it — that is the part these ten add. Each aims the metronome at one specific weakness and drills it in reps, and every setting on these screens is yours to change.
